To further strengthen its involvement in the local IT community, Agile software and web development house Codelean Inc. has recently joined the DigitalFilipino.com Club. DigitalFilipino is an Internet community of Filipino researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals that regularly organizes a variety of IT-related events, training courses, and seminars. The club was founded in 2003 by Janette Toral, author of several studies about Philippine e-commerce and Internet usage and a well-known figure in the local IT community.
Codelean Inc. has recently established the Agile Philippines forum, Agile.ph, as a platform for Agile practitioners and enthusiasts to discuss all aspects of Agile software and web development. Codelean Inc. has also organized the first ScrumMaster certification course held in Dusit Hotel in Makati City last April 14 to 15, 2009.
